Boundary County Library: Ask Me What I’m Reading!
A community-wide reading program featuring To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
“The Big Read is an initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts designed to restore reading to the center of American culture. The Big Read hopes to unite communities through great literature, as well as inspire students to become lifelong readers.”
Library partners include:
Participants can read the book on their own or together with family or friends.
The library’s book group will be meeting every Saturday in February, 1 to 3 PM, with Larry and Barb Nelson returning as the group’s discussion leaders.
Plans are being made with our partners for a special event after community members have had a chance to read the book - a showing of the movie and a documentary in conjunction with a larger group discussion - in early March.
